October at Inspire this year started with an out of this world Skate Night.
Skate Night began at Inspire last year. Priorly, the function was themed around past decades, however this time around, Skate Night blasted us to the far future and beyond into an era of extraterrestrials and futuristic fashion.
Students took an intergalactic dress up theme and made it their own. Max Griffin (9) responded with “No, I dress like I work at a tea shop” when asked about their space-age wear.
Even those who didn’t dress up got into their space spirit.
It was Jupiter Leckbee (11) ‘s first Skate Night this year, and they did not come in extraterrestrial garb. At the event, Jupiter remarked Skate Night is “Pretty great. I love it.”
This year’s Skate Night brought together an era of roller-rink carpet and otherworldly aliens.
